In The Mind of A Junior .5

Im Kelsey and Im a junior .5. A junior .5 is when youv been a junior for half of a year. So thats me. Its not really any different than any other year except now i have to start really cracking down on the books, start looking for a college that i might want to go to, dealing with friends and relationships, and all sorts of different changes.. No big deal really=/... So Ive never really had bad grades so its not one of the things that im really worrying about. Now where im going to go to college, thats a different story. I want to go somewhere where some of my friends will be and I want it to be somewhere ill like and somewhere that i will get accepted. Eh...I dont even want to think about it.. So dealing with my friends, they are all pretty cool except some are getting high maintenance and others are staying pretty chill. Also relationships are not really my big thing right now. I just like to hang out with my friends without being nagged at about hanging out with a boyfriend. But as far as being in the mind of me.. Theres not much more=P
haha THE END

The Main Characters...

Well the main characters of THE CRUCIBLE would probably be Abigail, John Proctor, and Elizabeth Proctor. About Abbi, well she was the backstabbing, powerful, tramp who killed a lot of people just so she could get back with her love John Proctor, who was now married to Elizabeth Proctor. Abbi and John had had something going on before John had met Elizabeth. Then John just up and left Abbi so that made her mad and now shes seeking revenge. John Proctor is one of the good men of Salem without a bad rep. Except for a time or two that he had cheated on Elizabeth with Abbi. John Proctors character trys to prove that no one was ever doing witchcraft and that there was no point to even accuse people of it. He fought so hard to show people that there was never any witchcraft being done that he sacrificed himself for the sake of others. Elizabeth Proctors character is the hard working, kind hearted person in the town of Salem. She stays out of peoples business and keeps to herself. She is trust worthy and probably the only one in the play that doesnt try to get someone else killed. THE END

The Crucible Has A Lot Of Bullying..

In our class we have read the play.. The Crucible.. We have noticed that there is alot of bullying in it. For one, there are a lot of evil people that are accusing the innocent of people of doing witchcraft and being witches and what not. For example, Abbi and John Proctor had a thing a long time ago but then it all ended when John met Elizabeth. They ended up getting married and Abbi is waiting for the perfect chance to split them apart when two girls fall mysteriously sick after dancing in the woods, where they were supposedly doing witchcraft. Abbi, blowing things out of proportion, starts saying that she did see the devil and all of these women by his side. One of these women were Elizabeth Proctor. Abbi ends up getting 19 innocent people hanged just because she wanted revenge agains Elizabeth. I would say that Abbi is the whole cause of the bullying in The Crucible. THE END

3 Cups Of Tea..#1

A book that i was recently assigned in english is 3 Cups Of Tea by Greg Mortenson. In english, we are studying stuff about Bully Awarness. So our books that we could choose from were The Kiterunner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, and Three Cups of Tea.
In my book, the main character is the author himself, so if you didnt know its a true story, but Three Cups of Tea starts out with Greg going to climb one of the highest mountains in the land in appreciation for his sister that had pass away. While he was on the mountain, something happened to one of the other climbers that made Greg turn around and head back down to town. He ended up getting lost and coming into this other town called Korphe. The people of Korphe accepted him and let him stay. He felt a little guilty about the whole issue so he made the town a promise to build them a school for them.
While trying to build the school, he had a horrible time of raising money. Greg met a guy named Jean, who donated the money to Greg to build the school. Jean ended up working for a company that built schools for the poor in the last months of his life.
So in the end, Greg ends up building over 50 schools for poor villages, while dealing with the frustrations of raising funds for the schools, missing his family, and a kidnapping. THE END!!=]

GOBAMA!!=]

I am supporting Barack Obama for our next president. A lot of familys in the United States suffer everyday because they dont have enough money for the basic needs for everyday life. For him wanting to make new jobs for people who dont have them, will help a lot to pay for bills, etc. Also we have soldiers around the world killing innocent people. We shouldnt have them doing that. We need a plan of action for the soldiers defending where it matters. In the end, im supporting barack obama even though im not old enough to vote.=]

My Pioneer..=)

A pioneer to me would have to be someone who works hard and never really complains. The pioneer in my life woul have to be my mom. She is my pioneer because to me and probably other people she works really hard. My mom has a stress filled job and that causes her to work at home and stay on the computermost of the time when she is home. She also travels all over the place, even if she is sick or just plainly doesnt want to go, she has to. Another reason I think my mom is a pioneer is because even with a hard job, she still maintains to keep the house clean and cook the food. When shes home and not on the computer, shes always doing something for me or my dad or maybe even the dog. My mom is not always home but whenever she is, the house is spotless and there is always food to eat. In the end, my mom is the pioneer in my life.=D

My Novel Setting!!=]

The setting of my novel Fever 1793 was in 1793 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Matilda, the main character lived with her mom Lucille and her grandpa. They also had a person who worked for them and basically lived with them, her name was Eliza. They owned a coffee shop and lived in the rooms upstairs above the restaurant. In the novel they had to move a lot since all of Philadelphia was taken over by the fever, so they left for the country. While some of the story took place in the country, most of the setting was placed at her home, at the coffee shop in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
